The State of Arizona and the Town of Gila Bend are confident that the Arizona State Department of Health Services is well prepared to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak, and as of yesterday, March 6th, 2020, there are no restrictions on travel anywhere within the Unites States.
Travelers are encouraged to always exercise healthy travel habits when traveling and to follow guidance issued by official sources of public health information. Some common-sense guidelines to follow are:
frequent sustained hand washing (for about 30 seconds)
coughing into your elbow or sleeve
staying home if sick
cleaning/disinfecting surfaces and objects including phones, remote controls, handles and door knobs, steering wheels, etc.
avoid contact with sick individuals
